Michelle Pecora has almost 20 years of experience in public accounting. Before starting her own firm, Michelle A. Pecora, CPA, P.C., Michelle spent fifteen years at Kuenzi & Company, LLC, a local Salem CPA firm.

Michelle’s high school boyfriend’s mother was a partner in a CPA firm which resulted in her interest in becoming an accountant. "I thought what his mother did sounded 'cool' and I was good at math, so I decided to go to college and major in accounting." She says. "It wasn't until college when I really understood the great experience and challenges it offered.

Over the years, Michelle has gained significant experience managing audit engagements for privately-held businesses and non-profit organizations. She has worked primarily with business in the agriculture, manufacturing, medical, construction and nonprofit industries.

Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob Svejkovsky, and their puppy, playing golf, skiing, hiking, watching sports and traveling anywhere warm and sunny.
